Xiaomi sold 190 million units in 2021, fiscal report shows. Xiaomi announced its financial figures for the last calendar year and the figures are impressive. Beijing-based Xiaomi posted CNY328 billion in revenue, which is a 33.5 percent increase over the prior year.
Meanwhile, the net profits were CNY22 billion, a staggering 69.5 percent increase, in comparison to 2020. The smartphone market performed exceptionally as 190.3 million devices were shipped all over the world that’s 30% higher than in 2020. Of those 24 million were in the premium category and that’s an increase of 160% YoY.

The total value of smartphones totaled CNY 208.9 billion. The number is a total increase of 37.2 percent, however, in reality, it’s an average of 1,097 CNY per handset which is the price for just one Chinese Redmi Note 11. The premium-quality shipments include the phones that cost more than CNY3,000 on the market in China or more than EUR300 internationally.
Xiaomi is constantly expanding its presence in the world. The company’s financial report showed that almost 50% of its total revenues came from markets outside of China which was CNY163.6 billion, which is a 33.7 percent increase in its value of money from 2020.
