Vivo Y21G reached with a 5,000 mAh battery, a thin body. Its Vivo Y21 smartphone was first introduced in India in August and, now, nearly an entire year later it’s getting a makeover. The company introduced the Vivo Y21G smartphone that is similar to its predecessor Y21 with its 8mm-wide profile, but it has an underlying chip that is a bit more powerful and more attractive pricing. The Vivo smartphone runs the Helio G70 chipset by Mediatek.

It is equipped with an octa-core processor that has two Cortex A75 units that operate on 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores. The company has launched a smartphone with 4GB memory and 64GB storage. Additionally, there’s a dedicated microSD slot that can be used for expansion. The rest of the specifications are the same as with the other six phones within the Y21 family. The Y21 has a 6.5″ LCD. 6.5″ LCD screen with a resolution of 720p, 13MP, and 2MP rear camera, and an 8MP selfie camera. The most significant feature of the entire lineup is the battery with a 5,000 mAh capacity.

It is compatible with 18W charging and Vivo will include an adapter that is compatible with the box that retails inbox. According to the press release, the phone is running FuntouchOS12 which is built on Android 12, but the website of Vivo India website shows the phone listed as FuntouchOS 11.1 with the previous generation of Android 11 underneath. The phone is on sale for INR 13,990 ($185/EUR170) and comes in two colors: Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow which is a silverish paint job. Beginning today, the phone can be bought from the mainland as well as on the internet.
