CFMoto Malaysia took to its official Facebook page recently where it announced the availability of the 2022 CFMoto 250SR model in a new and racy Lava Orange colourway scheme.
Apart from the racy new colourway, which by the way features a dash of Blue plus an array of racy sponsor decals, there are no mechanical changes to report on. It still features a peppy liquid-cooled 249.2cc DOHC single-cylinder heart primed with a Bosch EFI suite that delivers 27.5HP and 22NM.
Notable features retained in the 2022 model year guide include full-LED lighting, upside down (USD) front fork, all-around disc brakes (292MM upfront and 220MM at the rear) with ABS, and two selectable rides modes – Sport or Eco – plus a digital TFT dash display.
Brimmed with a 12-litre tank, this quarter-litre sport with a claimed weight of 165KG stands as a tempting proposition for those keen o a lightweight sports machine for both daily riding and weekend jaunts through the twisties.
For the Lava Orange colourway, just 50 units will be available locally according to CFMoto Malaysia. Those keen on this limited-run colour scheme will need to place their bookings quickly through authorised dealers.
Aside from that, CFMoto Malaysia says it will continue to offer the 250SR in both Nebula Black and Nebula White as before.
As for price, the CFMoto 250SR commands a basic sticker price that reads at RM16,800. Said price includes a two-year unlimited mileage warranty coverage as well.
