Major is an Indian Hindi-Telugu language biopic film. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced Mahesh Babu, Anurag Reddy & Sharath Chandra under the banner of Sony Pictures Releasing International, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment & A+S Movies. The film features Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala & Saiee Manjrekar in lead role. Major is selected to hit screen on 2021 [India].

Major is a Hindi-Telugu, bilingual film it has been co-written and directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka will see Sesh playing the role of the decorated NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Versatile actor Adivi Sesh who is enjoying best phase of his career is making his Bollywood entry with the Pan India project Major. Sobhita Dhulipala is playing crucial role opposite Adivi Sesh in the film. Saiee Manjrekar was added in the cast in September 2020.

The film is based on the life of November 2008 Mumbai attacks (26/11) martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film is produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S movies. The principal photography of the film began in February 2020. More than 50% of the film has been shot, further shooting will commence in Hyderabad in October 2020.
