iQOO 9 lineup battery size and charging speed leaked and coming soon. The Vivo sub-brand of iQOO has announced that it will launch its iQOO nine series on January 5 while also unveiling the phone’s design and a couple of specifications. Today, the company went to Weibo to provide more details about the battery technology.

iQOO claims that it will launch the iQOO 9 range will come with 4,700 mAh of power and 120W of wireless and wired charging. But only the Pro model will have wireless charging. Considering that the iQOO 8 Pro also came with 50W wireless charging, this isn’t surprising.

However, the standard iQOO 8 didn’t. iQOO does not explicitly state the model that will come with an iQOO 9 Pro battery with a capacity of 4,700 mAh. However, we can safely say it’s that of the iQOO 9 Pro, powered by this cell. In contrast, the regular iQOO nine will come with smaller batteries.

The image shared by iQOO confirms the presence of a USB-C port on the bottom and a SIM card slot, and the microphone on the left. The reverse side is less likely to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, as the previous two generations did not have one. In an additional blog post, iQOO said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC that is part of the iQOO 9 series would come to the “enhanced version” of LPDDR5 and the “overclocking version” of UFS 3.1 storage. However, it didn’t give us any figures for the latter.

In addition, the company stated they’re planning to launch an iQOO nine series that will feature the VC 3D dissipation system built into the board with a surface measuring 3926mm2. In the past, it confirmed that the iQOO nine series would sport an E5 screen with 2K resolution and three cameras anchored by a sensor of 50MP that comes with OIS. IQOO can reveal additional options in its iQOO nine series during the weeks preceding its launch event on January 5.
