Huawei Mate X2 Collector’s Edition starts sale in China. The month before, Huawei announced a more luxurious model of the Mate X2 foldable phone featuring leather on the back. The phone, dubbed Collector’s Edition, is available in white, black, and red shades. Huawei has opened up sales on special editions of the foldable model in China.

The phones have 12GB RAM and 512GB of memory as standard and are priced at CNY 19,699 that translates to $3,090 or EUR2,734. In addition to the premium look of the back, Huawei uses the nano-crystalline reinforced glass on the screen’s outer surface, which is expected to last longer.

The other specifications are identical to the standard Mate X2 – an 8-inch main OLED display that has FHD+ resolution, a fast 90Hz refresh rate. Kirin 9000’s 5G chip as the central hub and a quad-camera setup that includes the primary camera having a resolution of 50MP. The battery is 4,500 mAh that can be charged at speeds of 55W, while HarmonyOS 2 is the software aspect.
