Acharya is a drama movie directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Ram Charan Teja and Niranjan Reddy under the Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments banners. The film stars Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal while Ram Charan is set to play a crucial role.
While the shooting is proceeding at a brisk pace in Hyderabad, the ‘Khaidi No 150’ actor is likely to play dual roles as Govind and Acharya. Touted to be a socio-political actioner, the plot of the film reportedly revolves around a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation of temple funds and donations.
